GRAFKEN ROLLFOR D is a mandrel lubricant specially developed to withstand the extreme operative conditions suffered by the mandrel bars used in continuous rolling of seamless steel pipes. It is a dry powder containing solid lubricants, binders, wetting aids, selected rheological additives, dispersing and suspending agents which have the property to impart the mandrel surfaces with even lubricating and strong protective coating to allow a smooth and continuous rolling of steel seamless pipes. By reducing the friction coefficient to a lower value, operating mandrels can work with reduced energy consumption and efficiency; therefore pipes can be manufactured with a low cost incidence.
